Liberty appoints Greenlight to develop new commerce site

Multi-channel platform to deliver Advanced Content Curation, Personalisation and Global Commerce reach.

Liberty, the iconic London department store, has selected Greenlight, the digital growth agency, to help the fashion and lifestyle specialist grow its digital presence online and in-store.

The deal will see Greenlight use the Demandware platform to provide a high-end customer experience solution to shoppers across multiple channels (mobile and desktop) and regions. The solution will showcase the unique curated brand offering Liberty has in the physical world and bring to the digital world via engaging content and commerce experience for their collections across fashion, home wares and fabric.

The platform will be delivered to support Liberty’s plans to further increase their international footprint. This will be achieved with cutting-edge use of content and personalisation technology that is underpinned by best practice commerce features that touch online and in-store channels.

Ryan Thomas, Multi-channel Director at Liberty, added: “We offer a very special customer experience in-store so it is important to us that our customers enjoy an equally unique experience online, wherever they are in the world. It was vital for us to find a partner and platform that provides us with best-in-breed technology that can deliver a more relevant and personal experience, while also helping us meet our demanding growth targets.  Greenlight Digital’s team understood the many different components needed to deliver our vision and their focus on digital growth made them a natural choice for this project. “

Kevin Murray, director of ecommerce, Greenlight, said: “Liberty is an iconic brand with a unique offering. We are very proud to be working closely with them on a range of innovative functions to give their customers the best possible experience and help the business grow.”
